Hi! My name is Nari and I am a novice coxswain on the Capital Crew rowing team. Since the first day on the team, I have felt such a connection with the rowers, the coaches, and the sport itself. I enjoy coming to the Sacramento State Aquatic Center on beautiful Lake Natoma to practice as part of a passionate team that strives to be the best they can be. Everyone on the team is so positive, dedicated, and demonstrates great sportsmanship both on land and on water. It is truly a wonderful community and I am proud to be a part of it. With that being said, I would greatly appreciate it if you could donate in order to help our team. The "Ergathon" on November 11th is our biggest fundraiser of the year. In the same way that some fundraisers will ask for a pledge per lap run or per mile biked, our athletes will "erg" on rowing machines and try to go as far as possible to help benefit the team. Your donation helps to provide us with new equipment, allows for maintenance of the boats, and covers travel costs for our numerous competitions throughout the year. Thank you in advance for your support!!

I figure no matter how much success you have, if you ever lose your humility, you're done . . .And if you ever lose your hunger you're done. So have a lot of success and stay humble and hungry."
