Esther's House

Help Us Build a Lifeline for South Carolina’s Most Vulnerable

In 2024, SLED confirmed 394 victims of human trafficking in South Carolina315 of them were minors. And yet, across the entire state, there are only 10 long-term recovery beds available for child victims.

Most of these children have nowhere to go.

That’s why The Helianthus Project is launching Esther’s House—a safe, trauma-informed residential home dedicated exclusively to the long-term healing of trafficked children. Esther’s House will provide not just shelter, but also therapy, education, and a supportive community that believes in every survivor’s future.

Our goal is to raise $120,000 by June 2026 to bring this vision to life. These funds will help us secure, furnish, and staff the home to ensure it's ready to serve the children who need it most.

Why It Matters:

The reality in South Carolina is stark: while trafficking persists, long-term care options for survivors are nearly nonexistent. Without safe housing and support, many minors fall through the cracks—only to be retrafficked or lost to cycles of instability.

Esther’s House represents more than a home. It’s a second chance.

Join us in this mission. Every dollar brings us closer to opening the doors for a child who has been waiting far too long for safety, hope, and healing.

Donate today—and help build Esther’s House, one brick of hope at a time.
