Did you know we assisted over 70 feral cats from reproducing in 2024?
If each cat contributed to just one of the average litter of 6 kittens, we prevented over 400 kittens from entering our already overpopulated feral cat community. Our Trap Neuter Vaccinate Return (TNVR) Program is available to all Scotland County Residents which provides a spay/neuter, one year rabies vaccination, ear tipping (to identify who has already been s/n) and in extreme cases flea treatment. All you need to do is come by our shelter during normal business hours to fill out the form PRIOR to trapping and be willing to use your own trap.
If you'd like to support the cause, please consider donating towards our TNVR Program so we can reduce unwanted litters in our area. You may do so online or in person during our normal business hours, just note TNVR to be sure it goes directly towards this program.
SCHS thanks you in advance for supporting the cause and also to the list of volunteers under the program for taking the initiative in helping us reduce the overpopulation.
