Our Future Leaders Empowerment and Entrepreneurship Program is a hands-on, community-centered experience designed to empower youth and young adults with the skills, tools, and resources needed to achieve economic opportunity and long-term success. Our program focuses on leadership development, entrepreneurship, workforce readiness, and financial empowerment.

Participants will take part in interactive workshops, a live marketplace experience, and hands-on digital marketing and social media training that build real-world business and career skills. Financial literacy workshops, offered in partnership with Educators Credit Union, will introduce key concepts such as budgeting, saving, credit, and managing business finances. In addition, participants will receive access to our new AI Spending Coach, an innovative tool designed to help individuals track expenses, set financial goals, make informed spending decisions, and develop healthy money habits that support long-term financial stability.

Our program also provides meaningful networking opportunities with successful local businesses in Racine, WI, along with access to community-based educational resources that support continued growth beyond the event. A culminating business pitch competition and seed funding opportunity allows participants to present their ideas, receive feedback from potential investors and mentors, and gain practical guidance on refining and launching their ventures. Through this comprehensive event, participants are empowered to build economic mobility, create positive change, and contribute to stronger, more resilient communities.

The Awesome Young Authors Awards & Community is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to recognizing, supporting, and celebrating the extraordinary achievements of young published authors and entrepreneurs. Our mission is to honor their impactful contributions to literature, entrepreneurship, and our communities, fostering a future where their voices and talents continue to inspire, succeed and thrive!
