Queen B is a mini horse that was adopted from a rescue organization. She arrived to the rescue from a neglectful and abusive situation. She was alone for most of her life and never had a herd until arriving at B&B. Queen B was lasoed for all of her care. It is thought she was maybe beaten when not doing what humans wanted. Because of this, she is fearful of humans. Home at Last Farm Rescue put alot of work into getting her healthy and partially comfortable with humans. She had a severe eye infection that caused her to partially lose her vision in one eye. In addition, due to years of neglectful care she is missing half of her teeth. Therefore she requires a special diet different than most horses.
Queen B has frequent issues with eye irritants entering her blind eye. She just can't see where things are when she is playing around outside! She also needs a soupy mash diet which she can swallow without choking and dentals every 6 months to keep her remaining teeth healthy. She also was recently diagnosed with cushing's and requires daily medication. Your sponsorhip will provide the care she needs to stay in tip top condition. She is thought to be in her 30's, so she is an old lady enjoying the later stages of her life. Your support helps Queen B live out her golden years in comfort and peace!
