Support Arkansas Justice Reform Coalition

Your support to AJRC will assist with the following impacts in NWA:

1). Put in place car clinics, pardon clinic, warrant clinics, & Know your rights events.

2). Educate & empower local community members to participate in local governing bodies to advocate for policy change

3). Support the start of Courtwatch in NWA in Benton & Washington County

4). Launch data dashboards in NWA to show who is being jailed in Benton & Washington county

5). Put in place community organizers that will build local support and create awareness of key issues facing the community and to activate more individuals to vote, show up in city councils, school boards, quorum courts, and the state legislature.

6). Support all efforts needed to stop jail expansion in the NWA region and to increase investments in community supports and resources that are noncarceral.

7). Bring and create artistic renderings (music, theatre, art, word) , 2 + times per year. For example, "the box" July 2022 event in Fayetteville AR.

8). Build an investigative reporting sustainable structure that can fully flush out community concerns that do not make mainstream news but that have major impact to local communities.

9). Create capacity at AJRC that can respond to needs expressed of incarcerated families and individuals especially on concerns of conditions in any carceral setting in Arkansas.
