It’s that time of year again—Giving Tuesday, a day when nonprofit organizations across the country reach out to their communities for support. But this year feels different. Like so many animal welfare groups, we are stretched to our limits. We are bursting at the seams, doing everything possible to make every dollar stretch into two as we continue our mission to help animals in need.

The challenges have grown significantly. The overpopulation of cats continues to skyrocket, fueled by limited access to spay/neuter services and an overwhelming number of stray and abandoned animals. At the same time, irresponsible breeding of dogs has led to an increase in surrendered pets, many requiring medical care, training, and long-term support. And with fewer people able to foster, the pressure on rescues like ours is greater than ever before.

Despite these obstacles, we remain committed to saving lives, educating the community, and providing the compassion and care that every animal deserves. But we cannot do it alone.
