Desert Rose Piano
As you know, Desert Rose was founded to exemplify excellence in the Arts and Agriculture, as well as to offer Baha’i courses to help enlighten the world. DRBI has the good fortune to have several renowned musicians coming here over the next few months. Among those are Mark Ochu from Minnesota and Ali Youssefi from Chile and Mexico. Both have created new ways to combine the Baha’i Scriptures with uplifting music.
Such world-class performers require a first-class piano. Professional pianist Mark Ochu searched the internet and found a “perfect match,” a nine-foot grand piano ranked among the best in the world and at an astoundingly low bargain price. (One reason is that nine-foot pianos do not fit easily into most modern homes.) This one is in Mesa and is immediately available with delivery and tuning for $6,300. You may hear this piano at www.stilwellpianos.com. Search for New Arrivals, A.B. Chase 275.
To enable DRBI to acquire this beautiful instrument we are asking Friends of Desert Rose to contribute a substantial sum to reach here by October 1st. We have already received several pledges of $500, or more, and hope that others also will sacrifice some “lifeblood” so that music will serve “as a ladder for your souls, a means whereby they may be lifted up unto the realm on high . . .” Baha’u’llah, Kitab-i-Aqdas, paragraph 51.
