The Race for Chase at the Cheshire YMCA in Connecticut is an heartwarming and highly anticipated event that brings together participants from all walks of life. This annual race is organized to honor the memory of Chase Kowalski, a young boy who tragically lost his life in the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting. The Y has been an integral part of my life and an anchor for my family. This event raises funds for the Chase Kowalski Memorial Fund, which aims to promote community engagement, youth development, and wellness initiatives. The funds raised go towards providing scholarships for children to bike, run, and swim in Chase’s memory which inspires a lifetime of health and wellness. It’s truly a magical experience to see kids achieve this accomplishment!
