This Fall, from October 5th through October 8th, I will be participating in my 12th Ride Allegheny. I will be one of over 150 cyclists embarking on a 310-mile trek from Pittsburgh to Washington, DC, to raise money for Operation Second Chance. As a Marine I am always trying to find ways to give back to our disabled veterans. Last year we were able to raise over $630,000, and this year our goal is to raise more than $600,000 for Operation Second Chance and the tremendous work they do.
The incredible support Operation Second Chance provides to our service men and women and their families in their greatest time of need is awe-inspiring. Since 2005 Operation Second Chance has provide over $15 million in emergency assistance, morale related events, and scholarships to the children of our disabled veterans. I encourage you to take a moment to learn more about Operation Second Chance by clicking here. OSCs founder, Cindy McGrew, sums it up best when stating:
"While the wars overseas may be winding down, the war is never over for these wounded soldiers and marines."
Your donation may be tax-deductible, and any size contribution is extremely appreciated!
Thanks for your support!
