This Fall, from October 5th through October 8th, I will be one of almost 200 cyclists embarking on Ride Allegheny, a 310-mile trek from Pittsburgh to Washington, DC, to raise money for Operation Second Chance. We hope to continue Ride Allegheny’s track record of success as we aim to raise more than $600,000 for Operation Second Chance and the tremendous work they do.

You may recall my 2021 effort for this worthy cause.  It resulted in raising just short of $10,000 (and in a bit of a crash requiring surgery for a torn rotator cuff injury)!  I redirected my exercise goals in 2022 towards a successful Mt Kilimanjaro summit, but am back working towards a successful 4 day ride this fall with the Ride Allegheny cause.

The incredible support Operation Second Chance provides to our service men and women and their families in their greatest time of need is awe-inspiring.
