At The Imagine Center Farm, every pasture, trail, and barn represents more than just a place — it's a chance for an adult with developmental challenges to learn new skills and increase their independence, and find meaningful community with others. Here, dreams are cultivated, everyone is celebrated, and every day is a step forward.

The Imagine Center Farm is a magical place; we are a 70-acre farm in Brooklyn, Michigan run by psychologists to provide life changing experiences for adults with developmental disabilities. It is a place of transformation – changing hopelessness for increased independence through empirically supported, individualized skills building; trading unemployment, or unsatisfying work experiences, for true purpose and productivity in one’s work; and aloneness for regular and meaningful engagement with others, including others who also have developmental concerns, and those without such challenges.

The cost of sustaining the farm through has become beyond great, but we will never quit, and we cannot do this alone. Your donation can help us continue this mission and will allow us to open the doors to more families regardless of the level of their child’s challenges, develop a training program for future clinicians and caregivers, a volunteer program, and obtain grant funding for each of the aforementioned, and to increase the ability of the farm to offer the above services to an increasing number of individuals.

It will also allow a greater number of individuals to take part in the experiences offered at the farm. In the short-term:

Assist in running the farm programs
Provide transportation to and from the farm for all of our participants
Funding that allows all participants to attend the program, regardless of background, functioning level, SES, etc.
Resources for participants who may need more care (due to medical, developmental, behavioral concerns, or some combination of these)

In the future:

Continue to develop the land, including:
- Additional buildings
- Bridges
- An orchard
Purchase and train more animals
