We are thrilled to be welcoming more youth than ever to Rancho Compasión through our Friends and Food education program, consisting of field trips and student work days, after school programs, and summer camps! Students spend time interacting with our rescued farmed animals, learning about the intricacies of the food system, and working and eating in our educational garden.
We are so grateful to our community in Marin County for helping us to pilot the program and get it off the ground, and now hope to expand our impact to youth from around the Greater Bay Area. We need the help of our generous supporters to offer sponsorships and scholarships to low-income schools and families to provide opportunities for sanctuary, connection, and learning to all youth in the region, regardless of background.
Your gift is tax-deductible and will directly impact local youth and, as a byproduct of our lessons, the millions of animals who continue to be exploited within the U.S. food system.
