We're a group of volunteers at the Friends of the Tompkins County Public Library (FOL) Book Sale's Children's Department.  We love the library and want to support the Library Foundation's effort to raise money to add books to TCPL's collection.  And since the READATHON takes place on the first day of the Spring Friends Book Sale, May 7th, we'll be reading from the book sale headquarters, at 509 Esty Street in Ithaca!  Weather permitting, we'll be reading picture books to kids lining up to get into the sale, right out in front of the building.  Donors will get the link to watch us online or join us in person on May 7th.

The TCPL Foundation and the Friends of TCPL have the same goal, to support our public library and enrich its collections for the enjoyment of all members of the community.  Your donation to our campaign for the READATHON means more books in the library. And your purchases at the Friends book sales allow the organization to give generously to TCPL for the same purpose.
