Emme and Hannah's Story

Emme and Hannah will be combining their fondness for both reading and historical costumes for this Readathon! We will be virtually reading the classic Regency-era novel Pride and Prejudice while dressed in replica clothing from the same era. There will be a YouTube link up so you can watch our reading when it is our turn at the event.

Please donate to help us support a wonderful local library that contributes so much to our community! From books to music,  classes to meeting space, from 3-D printing to a free public restroom, the library provides a huge range of services to its users and we want to help contribute something in return.

Story

The READATHON is our annual read-out-loud challenge to raise funds for the collection at TCPL!

In this, our 11th year, reader-fundraisers will read from their favorite books and ask their friends, family, and colleagues to join them in supporting the public library. Your donation, in any amount, is very welcome.

Every dollar raised helps to buy books and other materials our community so desperately needs. Nearly a million items are used each year—a remarkably high level for a community of our size—and 100% of the funding comes from private support, like that raised by our READATHON participants.

Money raised by the Readathon goes toward purchasing books, films, e-books, audiobooks, and other materials that our patrons depend on to remain informed, entertained, and educated.
