With much gratitude for those who have supported our fundraiser in past years, we're thrilled to be returning to this year's READATHON (our fourth year participating!).

We'll be reading excerpts from Robert C. O'Brien's "Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of Nimh"--a moving story about mice and rats and a cat named Dragon. But it's also about community, the debts we owe one another, and what it means to live a good life and to honor friendships.

We hope you'll tune in for our reading. In the meantime, please help us raise money for our local library.
We're aiming for $500 this year.
Donations will be used to buy books, films, and other materials patrons
depend on to remain informed, entertained, and educated.
About the Readers:
Olivia Zowie Palma is 9-years-old and a
student at the Elizabeth Ann Clune Montessori School of Ithaca. These
days, she's leaning into her passion for art, music, and the Legend of Zelda's Breath of the Wild. At home, she's reading The Fantastic Mr. Fox, The Baby Sitters Club series, and, together, we're reading Les Miserables.
Raul Palma is Olivia's father, an associate dean of faculty at Ithaca College School of Humanities & Sciences, and the
author of "A Haunting in Hialeah Gardens" (forthcoming from Dutton) and
"In This World of Ultraviolet Light" (Indiana
University Press).
