Steven Streetman's Story
Thanks for your donation! Leslie and I are having a great time settling into Ithaca. I've been enjoying volunteering for the Friends of the Library and am looking forward to starting full-time at Cornell. (Over the winter I worked Cornell sporting events and had a blast.)
The Library is always the first place I visit when I explore a new community and I'm happy to be able to support TCPL through the Readathon.

The READATHON is our annual read-out-loud challenge to raise funds for the collection at TCPL!
In this, our 11th year, reader-fundraisers will read from their favorite books and ask their friends, family, and colleagues to join them in supporting the public library. Your donation, in any amount, is very welcome.
Every dollar raised helps to buy books and other materials our community so desperately needs. Nearly a million items are used each year—a remarkably high level for a community of our size—and 100% of the funding comes from private support, like that raised by our READATHON participants.
Money raised by the Readathon goes toward purchasing books, films, e-books, audiobooks, and other materials that our patrons depend on to remain informed, entertained, and educated.
