Why Your Support Matters
The bond and emergency operating levy are investments in the future of Avon Lake. They will provide our students with the facilities and resources they need to succeed, support our dedicated teachers and staff, and create a stronger, more prosperous community. Most of our schools are 50+ years old and in a state of disrepair, with leaky roofs, mold and asbestos. There are also security issues at every building in the district.

Avon Lake Citizens for Schools (ALCS) is a group of volunteers whose mission is to support students, teachers and staff by advocating for their best interests. We are committed to informing and engaging with the public and raising awareness to ensure that our schools receive the resources they need to educate our kids and strengthen our community. By uniting citizens, parents, educators and businesses, we aim to preserve our children's futures and maintain the high standards of education that contribute to the strength and vibrancy of Avon Lake.
