8 Years of Prospects, Jobs, Popcorn, and Movies!

In the 8 years the Prospector Theater has been in operation we have achieved goals, changed countless lives for the better, created numerous jobs for hundreds of Prospects, and cultivated meaningful relationships with the community. Our Prospects work hard from the moment they start their shift, ensuring that guests have the best possible experience with us ever! Since the pandemic, we have expanded into a hybrid model, so that Prospects that need to work virtually still have a job. We have taken our Gourmet Popcorn online and on the road, creating a new revenue stream. The amount of jobs created by the Prospector are enriching to our Prospect's lives, and each day we are creating new opportunities.

WE WORK HARD.

We use education, engagement, and entertainment to showcase our incredible talents and employability. Prospects work every job at the Theater – selling tickets, popping popcorn, filming, hosting events, editing, programming, landscaping, embroidery, service learning, marketing, strategic planning, graphic design, ICT, game design, music production, grant writing, making our signature Gourmet Popcorn, research, web design, data analytics, costume-making, creating pixel art, giving speeches, greeting & seating, and so much more!

WE ARE NEEDED.

More than 82% of Americans with disabilities don't have a job. Over 1,000,000 more Americans with disabilities have lost their jobs due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Through the operation of a premium first run movie theater, Prospects are paired with jobs that highlight their strengths and passions - or as we call it, “sparkle”.

Each new release generates dozens of opportunities to use our sparkle as we transform ordinary moviegoing into memorable experiences.

We offer products that people want – good movies, fresh popcorn, entertaining pre-show content, clean facilities, and unparalleled pink glove service!

Recently our Gourmet Popcorn ecommerce business has had groundbreaking success, allowing us to create more jobs for Prospects, and share our mission with the whole country.
