Savannah's Hope

Sweet Savannah urgently needs your help! This young, adorable girl survived on the streets in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas, fed by a kind gentleman in the neighborhood until a dedicated street rescuer pleaded for her to be saved. When Savannah arrived to us, she had a badly mangled back leg with a compound fracture and exposed bone. The vet determined that amputation was necessary to relieve her suffering. Despite being initially terrified, Savannah has slowly come out of her shell, revealing just how affectionate and sweet she truly is. We can't imagine how she endured such a severe injury for at least eight months on the streets, but now she has a chance at a happy, healthy life.
