2026 Better Mental Wellness, Oconee County!

Oconee Streams is a faith-based, mental health non-profit that is focused on 3 areas of need for Oconee.

-Educating and equipping residents (churches, businesses, civic groups, and individuals) with tools to understand more about mental health and how to assist themselves or loved ones in acquiring the help they need. We do this through workshops. This year we are donating one free mental health workshop to a church each month of 2026 to help them be more equipped to help.

-Provide counseling services at a low to no-cost to the at-risk children of Oconee. In the future it will expand to more than children but our first goals is reaching the large number of children who are in need of counseling both to them and their families. These populations would also include foster and kinship-care children that are displaced in our area for various reasons. 

-To attract and train faith focused and well trained clinicians to work with the non-profit to provide above services and help to our amazing county of Oconee.
