RHS 2025 Annual Appeal

Thank you for being a part of the Rye Historical Society’s story. With your continued partnership, we look forward to another year of discovery, preservation, and community engagement.

Looking Back — 2025
As we reflect on another remarkable year at the Rye Historical Society, we are filled with gratitude for the continued commitment of our supporters and community to preserve and celebrate Rye history. Thanks to your generosity, 2025 has been a year of growth, learning, and community connection—one that truly embodies our mission to collect, preserve, and educate about Rye’s rich past for the benefit of generations to come.

Looking Ahead — 2026
In 2026 we mark an extraordinary milestone: the 250th anniversary of the American Revolutionary War. As part of the national commemoration known as America 250 (and locally branded as Revolutionary Rye 250), the Rye Historical Society is thrilled to join communities across the country in honoring this pivotal moment in our nation’s history. Rye played an important role during the Revolutionary era, and we are planning a year of special exhibits, events, educational programs, and community initiatives that will spotlight our town’s contributions and celebrate the enduring spirit of independence.

To all those who have already renewed their membership for 2026: thank you. Your loyalty and belief in our mission make all the difference. If you have not yet renewed or made your gift, please consider making a contribution today. Your membership renewal or donation—whether small or large—directly supports our exhibitions, archives, educational programming, lectures, tours, historic-house maintenance, and our upcoming 250th anniversary initiatives.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, the Rye Historical Society depends on community giving to continue protecting Rye’s heritage and sharing it with future generations.
