ROOTS Rugby Family 2024

As enter our fourth year of rugby, education, networking, familial connections, and more, we recognize the impact that our players, coaches, founders, and supporters have had on us and the ROOTS journey thus far. So much of our progress is tied to the generosity of our ROOTS family and we want to ensure that our mission statement can continue to come to fruition with your help!

Traveling to different tournaments and seeing the ROOTS gear continually represented has shown us the family will only get larger! What started as an idea has aimed to give our afro-centric players the best opportunities to grow their game, their community, and most importantly, themselves. Those that are firmly rooted remain strong against adversity.

Here’s where you come in! Your contributions allow us to grow our program and provide for many rugby players in the USA and beyond! Donations to ROOTS Rugby cover flights, tour fees, team vans, team gear, food, and even housing for our players. Due to generous donations in the past from supporters, our players and coaches have been able to pursue some of their highest athletic goals and have been able to connect with lifelong friends and mentors within the program. Community initiatives like our sock drives, spring givebacks, and rugby clinics have helped us gain perspective and learn how we can better serve our communities using the vehicle of rugby to bring us closer.
