As we close out this year and reflect on the work behind us, one theme continues to stand out: the extraordinary strength of our community and the powerful role you play within it. Your generosity, partnership, and compassion have enabled RTHV to not only repair homes, but to strengthen the foundation of safer, healthier, and more hopeful futures for our neighbors across Dutchess and Ulster Counties.

This year we embraced a simple but meaningful truth—every person connected to our mission is a Spoke of the Wheel that keeps us moving forward. Donors, volunteers, contractors, board members, community partners, supporters, and the homeowners we serve each play an essential part in keeping our work steady, strong, and in motion. You are one of the spokes that ensures homeowners and families in need can remain safe, warm, and independent in the place they call home.

Your support in 2025 allowed us to deliver critical repairs, accessibility modifications, and home safety upgrades to the people who need them most: older adults striving to age safely at home, veterans seeking stability, families facing urgent home challenges, and individuals living with mobility or health concerns. Together, we kept neighbors safe through winter storms, created accessibility solutions, prevented further deterioration to aging homes, and strengthened housing security—one project, one family, one repair at a time.  

This year also marked continued progress in our expanded service area. By bridging the river and deepening our relationships in Ulster County, we brought volunteers, partners, and communities together with one purpose: ensuring every neighbor has a safe, healthy place to live. That unity—people coming together to lift one another up—is the heart of what makes the Hudson Valley so special.

Looking ahead to 2026, our focus is on building strength, stability, and sustainability through continued community partnerships, expanded outreach, and our giving campaigns.    Every gift—no matter the amount—provides the support that allows us to plan ahead, respond quickly, and meet the growing needs across the region. Each gift strengthens the wheel and keeps our mission turning all year long for homeowners and families alike.

In this season of gratitude and giving, we thank those who have stood beside us and warmly welcome new friends into our circle of support. Every donation, every shared hour of service, every referral, and every kind word about our mission creates real, lasting change.
