As we begin the new school year, we are excited to launch our Fall Weekend Backpack Program, which serves 1,250 children weekly in 21 schools across the Russellville, Atkins, Pottsville, Dover, and Hector School Districts. This vital program ensures that children in our community have access to nutritious food over the weekends when school meals aren’t available.

Your financial support allows us to purchase the food and supplies needed to fill each backpack. Every dollar counts and goes towards ensuring no child goes hungry over the weekend.

It costs as little as $12/month to support a child in the backpack program. For the cost of one large pizza, you can feed a local child in need every weekend.
