We are Union MADE (Mass Action and Democratic Empowerment), a statewide slate of candidates running in the Spring 2025 vacancy elections for UAW 4811. We are Academic Student Employees, Student Researchers, Postdocs, and Academic Researchers who believe in the power of a democratic, inclusive, and worker-led union. Inspired by the power of our massive strike in 2022, we came together last fall to form the largest local union at UC and in the UAW. But our work did not end there. We are running together to continue building a cross-local, mass-participation labor movement at the University of California to democratize our workplace and society.

Our campaign is of, by, and for UAW members at UC. We are seeking donations from fellow UAW members at the University of California to realize our vision for mass worker power that can transform our working conditions. Contributions will go towards materials such as posters, flyers, and buttons.
