Our hearts are heavy as we process the devastation caused by the F1 tornado that struck the Irving Family Advocacy Center on March 4th—a place of safety, healing, and comfort for so many, including us. Walking through the damage was absolutely heartbreaking… water everywhere, fallen ceiling tiles, and so much lost. It felt like a scene from a movie—surreal and overwhelming.

Yet, in the midst of destruction, there is hope. Some of our spaces, including the counseling rooms, fared better than expected, and we’re grateful that many of our things may be salvageable once the building is safe to enter again.

To everyone who has reached out, offered help, and shared their love—thank you. Your kindness and support mean everything during this difficult time. We will rebuild, and together, we will restore this space of healing. It will take several months to nearly a year to repair our building and replenish our supplies.
