Stuart Williams is a former Peace Corps Volunteer who served in Guatemala, which is

in Central America over 30 years ago. I met him at a Progressive Omaha meeting over

20 years ago, and he has been involved in social justice issues and helping to challenge

the status quo which include the Democratic Party in Nebraska. He is a frequent critic

and has many postings on Facebook regarding social justice. We had a chance to talk about

the concept of white ally and the importance of us as old times to stay engaged in the

struggle for the oppressed in our respective communities. We will explore how does

one stand for social justice when so many are mere bystanders and they see the atrocities

being committed in Gaza against the children, women, and innocent men who just want

to live, and they are murdered by a Zionist leadership in Isreal. Stuart set an example

white folks who can take a page from his years of being an advocate to help the

wretched of the Earth as, Fanon calls the downtrodden and oppressed people. Stuart

has worked in many occupations; his last employment was in a blue-collar job, and he is

currently retired.
