Hudson’s Story

Though on the surface Hudson may look like a typical, rambunctious toddler, the past year has been anything but normal for this 3-year-old. Hudson was diagnosed with leukemia just weeks before his second birthday. “The world stopped for us,” his mom expressed. Soon after the diagnosis, Hudson’s family received support from Pinky Swear Foundation’s Orange Envelope and All-Star Fund Programs. “The money from those programs helped to alleviate some stress that I didn’t even realize I was taking on,” Hudson’s dad said. Hudson’s mom added, “When you get connected with Pinky Swear, you realize that you are not alone in this.” After nine months of chemotherapy treatment, Hudson is now in maintenance until 2022 and taking chemotherapy pills daily along with frequent hospital visits.
