Help Rainbow Cafe LGBTQ Center celebrate 25 years of serving our community in Southern Illinois!

Since starting in 2000 by a small group of dedicated and passionate volunteers, Rainbow Cafe has grown into a thriving community center and clinic in downtown Carbondale. Rainbow Cafe creates an affirming space for LGBTQIA+ people to access resources and non-judgmental support, including a variety of programs, support groups, community events, and health services.

We owe our incredible growth to our strong community of supporters — help us commemorate 25 years of serving Southern Illinois!

Join us Saturday, Nov. 8, 2025 at the SIU Student Center Ballrooms for an evening of food, fun, entertainment, and togetherness, hosted by Jonny Gray! Entertainment for the evening is brought to you by Jewls Entertainment and sponsored by Southern Illinois Pride Collective. Prize packages will be offered during our live auction that evening, along with select items for silent auction. Live auction sponsored by Purple Wave Auction. Hors d'oeuvres and desserts will be provided by Bake Me Happy, and cash bar by Hunan. See you there!
