Help us honor and preserve our military history for future generations A Historic, Veteran-Led Rally to Defend Our Legacy On April 30, 2025, in Washington, DC, veterans, advocates, and allies from across the country will gather for a powerful, veteran-led rally to defend democracy and uplift the true stories of our military service. Rally Against Fascism: Honoring and Preserving Our Military History—is a stand against extremism and historical erasure. Led by veterans, with the majority of speakers being veterans themselves, the rally highlights the deep and diverse legacy of military service in the United States. Preserving the Real Story of American Service This rally will honor those whose contributions have too often been left out of the spotlight, including: Navajo Code Talkers The 442nd Regimental Combat Team (Japanese American WWII heroes) Tuskegee Airmen Jewish American veterans who served during the Holocaust Women in service throughout history LGBTQ+ veterans and active-duty members Black, Indigenous, Latinx, immigrant, and other marginalized veterans By lifting up these voices, we remind the nation that democracy is defended by all of us—and must be preserved for all of us. “We ❤️ our VA” Campaign: A Nationwide Show of Support In solidarity with the rally, we’re launching “We ❤️ our VA”, a grassroots campaign encouraging supporters to visit their local VA facilities on April 30, holding signs and sharing personal stories about how much the VA means to them and their communities. This is a response to growing efforts to dismantle or privatize the VA system—an institution that is essential to the lives of millions of veterans. Supporters across the country will post photos and videos using #WeLoveOurVA, creating a powerful, nationwide show of unity.
