Ohana Preservation Foundation offers individual and small group counseling by licensed professionals, often incorporating innovative modalities, such as, equine-assisted activities, horticulture, and expressive arts. We also hold several mental wellness programs, and large, family-style events each year for vulnerable children, their families, and caregivers. This includes youth suffering from anxiety, depression, and suicidal ideation; those currently in juvenile centers; those admitted to hospice or have a significant illness; those in need of grief support who have lost a parent, child, or sibling; caregivers struggling with compassion fatigue; and those who have experienced trauma, such as bullying, sexual assault and human trafficking.

Ohana has serves around 1,000 annually. On our 81-acre farm, we have found that many people are able to build trust and love through animals and healing in nature, instead of a traditional office setting.
