Hi everyone! On June 18, 2021, I'm going to attempt my first 100 mile race. Eek! But, you can help give me extra motivation, and help youth experiencing homeless in Colorado Springs, by donating here! My goal is to raise $1,000 in conjunction with my 100 mile race to support The Place.

The Place supports youth ages 15-24, giving them resources to enable them to exit homelessness and create self-determined, fulfilled lives. They have a shelter, longer term housing programs, and many services - such as education, building job skills to gain employment, health and medical care, and more.

Last year The PLACE served 524 unduplicated youth. Since 2000, The PLACE has helped over 7,650 young people. 2,525 youth exited homelessness for good. If those exited youth had spend just 1 more year in homelessness, it would have cost taxpayers $89.8 million!
