As someone who has faced Alcohol Use Disorder head-on, I know firsthand the devastating toll Substance Use Disorder (SUD) takes—not just on the individual, but on their loved ones too. 😔
My husband, Evan, stood by me through the darkest moments of my struggle, never wavering in his love and support. Even when alcohol trapped me in a prison of my own making, he saw the real me and never gave up. ❤️
Ultimately, I was the one who got myself better. But, I cannot say how long it would have taken me to get there (or if I’d be around to share my story🙏), without his unwavering love and support.
And now I can proudly say that my 5 year sober milestone is coming up in January of 2026 and I'm thrilled!
These past 5 years have been truly been the healthiest and happiest of my entire life and I'm so grateful. 🙏
I am living proof that #LoveIsTheWay. 💖
What I’ve learned in the past 7 years of my journey, is that families and loved ones are the greatest untapped resource in recovery. 🫂 Their support can create the space for healing to begin.
“Keep Coming Back,” a film written and directed by Mark Rosman (known for A Cinderella Story and Lizzie McGuire), is a powerful narrative inspired by real-life experiences.
It shines a light on the critical, often overlooked role of families in the recovery process—a perspective no film has explored before. 🎞️❤️🩹
Your tax-deductible donation, no matter how small, can help bring this groundbreaking film to life. By supporting Keep Coming Back, you’re helping spread a vital message: when families of those struggling with SUD reflect on their own actions and embrace change, they can open the door to recovery for their loved ones. 🙏💖
Join us in making this film a reality and showing the world that recovery is a journey we take together. #FamiliesHealTogether
