Recuperación: Huracán Fiona

La comunidad MPAeña está comprometida a asistir con los esfuerzos de recuperación tras el paso del Huracán Fiona en Puerto Rico.

Nuestro plan de recuperación se concentran en tres importantes pasos:

1. Asegurar el bienestar de les participantes de nuestros programas y centros de pasantía: Proveeremos los servicios y ayudas necesarias para garantizar que tanto les participantes como sus centros de pasantía puedan regresar a sus labores de servir a sus comunidades.

2. Comunidades: Apoyaremos a las comunidades que históricamente hemos apoyado en sus procesos de recuperación a desastres. Guiados por sus respectivos lideratos comunitarios.

3. Voluntariado: Activaremos a nuestra comunidad de voluntariado a la disposición de las organizaciones y comunidades con las que hemos colaborado. Nuestra red de voluntaries estará disponible para la entrega de suministros, recogida de escombros y cualquier otra necesidad que se identifique en las comunidades que no ponga en riesgo la seguridad del voluntariado. Con tu donativo garantizamos que nuestros voluntaries puedan llegar directamente a las comunidades a realizar los esfuerzos de recuperación. Igualmente, que podamos ampliar la cantidad de personas que llevaremos a las comunidades.

The MPA community is committed to assisting with Hurricane Fiona's recovery efforts in Puerto Rico.

Our recovery plan focuses on three crucial steps:

1. Ensure the well-being of our program participants and internship centers: We will provide the necessary services and support to ensure that both participants and their internship centers can return to the work of serving their communities.

2. Communities: Guided by their respective community leaders, we will support the communities we have historically supported in their disaster recovery processes.

3. Volunteering: We will activate our volunteer community at the disposal of the organizations and communities with which we have collaborated. Our network of volunteers will be available to deliver supplies, debris collection, and any other needs identified in the communities that do not jeopardize the safety of the volunteers. With your donation, we guarantee that our volunteers can go directly to the communities to carry out the recovery efforts. Likewise, we can increase the number of people we will take to the communities.
