"Into the Woods"
Inspired by stomping around the grounds and nature playground with kiddos of all ages at AMP and finding some groovy shaped dried lily stalks, this design is called "Into the Woods".
The pencil skirt is made of vented cardboard packing material from Amazon shipments and aluminum from the plethora of seltzer and beer cans that populate the vast majority of our recycle bins. I'm still working to complete a choker necklace and swingy tank top made of fabric swatches and more aluminum can designs. Cheer me on!
My beloved sister Heidi is my exuberant model and I'm fundraising on behalf of Favarh as they have recently been instrumental in helping her to create a supportive and fun community of new friends and activities following her recent move to Connecticut this year. They are absolutely wonderful!
Thank you SO much for your support of both Favarh and the programs at the American Mural Project, where I am proud to work and create.
