In 2012, Roycemore School moved from 640 Lincoln, our home for almost a century, to 1200 Davis, a bright and shiny new building. We brought with us our foundation of compassionate teachers, innovative programming, and incredible students. It became a new home away from home.

And, like any home - it is time for a Refresh! This Giving Tuesday, join us as we campaign to #RefreshRoycemore.

Over the summer we recognized that as we built out our beautiful Innovation Center, other areas needed some attention. Thus, we committed annual funds and operational dollars to the following projects:

Paved the entrance and drive from Grove Street, our number one requested improvement: $110,000
Carpeted the Library: $12,000
Carpeted each of the First through Fourth-grade classrooms: $8,000
Repaved and repainted the parking lot: $7,725
Installed 13 new security cameras in and around the building: $2,600
Installed a new phone line: $1,000
Installed ten new speakers into our intercom and paging system: $800
And, because all homes have unpredictable costs, we had one plumbing emergency over the summer (check out the video) $1,000

We made these investments to Refresh Roycemore - and now you can help! The Annual Fund supports ongoing needs for operations and to continue to keep our home beautiful with the things our Ziggy uses every day.

Carpet cleaner!

Lightbulbs!

Roof repairs!

Landscaping!

And, at the end of it all, we also need to refresh ROYCE, our Griffin mascot. We hope we can count on you to help our Annual Fund this Giving Tuesday with the understanding that Roycemore will allocate your dollars to the areas of greatest need.
