Car Seat Support for Refugee Families

Last year we provided 250 car seats to refugee families in Utah. We are finding this is a unique and important gap to fill. We have been providing car seats for families in need while also educating the parents on proper use of seatbelts and car seats. 

Some refugees come from countries where drivers licenses and car seats were not required. Education and creating greater understanding is our goal.

Many families want to keep their kids safe but lack the financial means or resources to be able to purchase car seats. It's not that they don't care about their children, it's just that when you are working hard to pay rent and have food, car seats are an additional and a burden some expense.
