Since 2011, Artistic Apothecary’s purpose is to liberate the Ancestral lifeways of Africans, for us to exist within Nature, receiving all our basic dignities in harmony. As we enter our second decade of grassroots care, we are preparing for collective expansion in the form of our first brick and mortar location on Pueblo Lands.

Mission

From Seed-to-Service, rooted in ancient lifeways, we cultivate and craft locally adapted botanical remedies that provide culturally competent care, creating immersive experiences that nourish and honour people and the planet.

Our Core Values

1. Playful – We make all decisions with the motto, “ Life Is Leisure,” leading with buoyancy, ease and cheer.

2. Ancient – We lean heavily on the ones that came before us. Those in deep relation with the Earth, Elements and each other.

3. Nature – We honour Nature as our primary care giver; our church, hospital, cafeteria, playground, and everything we require for healthy, happy lives.

cultivate – steward 30 pounds of acclimatized Seeds of medicinal, edible, fiber and building plants

craft – transform 50 drought tolerant plants into 1,000 ounces of herbal medicine

care – provide 55 tailored, culturally competent, customize-able wellness sessions that nourish and honour 6,555 people and our planet

curate – accessible Nature based education though 15 immersive workshops, 500 zines, 5 unique botanical experiences and distribution of 5,000 pounds of self sufficiency supplies
