We are looking for NEW monthly donors to meet a need we have in Croatia. Starting November 1st, we will need to begin paying the monthly salary for Iva, one of our amazing house moms. Since October 2024, Iva's employment has been funded by an organization in Croatia who had funds to assist with the care of Ukrainian refugees. They offered to hire to pay Iva as she served our Rescue Shelter kids. The funds have run out and we will need to begin covering her salary in November. We are SO very grateful for the year that her salary was covered...what a blessing that was!

So, we need new monthly donors to help us meet this new need of an additional $1,750 a month to cover Iva's salary.

What does Iva do? Well, Iva works a 48 hour shift at the Rescue Shelter each week and during those hours she is fully responsible for the kids. She cooks their meals. She cleans the house. She helps them make sure they are keeping their rooms clean, laundry done and she assists them with their homework. Then, she also helps as a "go between" for Xander and the schools during some of the more complex school discussions or apprenticeship discussions that sometimes need to occur. So, she does a lot for our kids and we need to keep her!
