The Mariposa DR Foundation is incredibly grateful to be the recipient of donations made in Chris's honor.

Chris began volunteering with the Mariposa DR Foundation in 2013 and left a lasting impression on each and every one of us. Riding his bike to the center every day, Chris taught countless young girls to swim and outfitted them with brand new swimsuits, caps, and goggles. Despite only being able to be with us during the summers, Chris worked tirelessly year-round, seeking corporate and individual donors to keep our swim program going strong. His spirit and tremendous heart will be sorely missed but celebrated forever.

Our pool is going to be dedicated to Chris, with a special sign acknowledging his love and commitment to all the girls of Mariposa. Donations made in his memory will establish a scholarship fund to provide food, lodging and transportation costs for one volunteer to come work at Mariposa DR Foundation during our summer programs. Chris firmly believed in giving to others and sharing his talents. This scholarship will provide an opportunity for others to do the same.

Thank you Chris- for shining your light amongst us and for your humble, giving spirit. Many future Mariposas will be swimming in happiness thanks to you...
