After taking nearly 40 kids last year to Kids Across America (KAA) camp in Branson, Missouri, where they had an absolute blast, we’re thrilled to announce that this year our goal is to give 75 young people the experience of a lifetime! At First Chance U, we’re inviting youth ages 10-18 to join this transformative journey filled with faith, leadership, sportsmanship, and resilience. We’ll be attending Session 6 from July 6-11 and will be departing from Charlotte, NC on July 5 for the adventure ahead!

Both Chris and I serve as leaders in the 2nd largest public school system in North Carolina. We see daily the impact of fostering resilience, leadership, and faith in our youth. For many, summer can feel aimless as parents work long hours, but KAA is a week that breaks that monotony. Campers will be immersed in positive role models, learn to lead with purpose, and develop the confidence to make positive life choices.

Each student is responsible for raising $250 to cover their camp experience. In addition, we have a travel cost of $16,000 to ensure every student can make it to camp. Please consider donating however you feel led. Your support can make an incredible difference: instilling values, encouraging leadership, and providing a safe, uplifting space for each camper to discover their potential.
