What started as a call to help one sick kitten with severely infected eyes has grown into something much bigger. That kitten was just one of over 50 cats and kittens now living in a growing colony right here in Willow Springs.

This all began with a dream — home ownership, kindness, and compassion. A single mother of three finally achieved that dream, paying off a rent-to-own home where her family could feel safe and secure. But the property came with a few unhandleable cats... and over time, more showed up. More were abandoned. More were born. Despite her best efforts — and thousands of dollars spent on food, spay/neuter surgeries, and medical care — the situation has grown beyond what any single family can manage. Earning less than half the median income in Willow Springs, and facing the mounting needs of so many animals, this compassionate caretaker is doing everything she can.

She didn’t cause this crisis. She’s been fighting it. But now, she needs us.

Thanks to TNR Patrol and Kitten Division, 4 cats and 18 kittens are now receiving the care they need. But dozens more still wait.
