Aktive Minds Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing quality programs and resources to youth in the Detroit community.

What started off as a playdate in the park in 2020, is now an organization that serves roughly 100 participants per season through basketball and other youth outreach initiatives. With partnerships such as Detroit Parks and Recreation - Heilmann (Detroit), Impact Church (Detroit), and University Liggett Schools (Grosse Pointe), AMF has been able to provide quality basketball experiences to the youth involved. Every season brings experienced instructors, practices, character classroom sessions, games, league t-shirts, group field trips, and end of the season parties! The AMF character-first approach ensures that participants are learning more than just basketball... they are understanding the importance of having good character, both on and off the court.
