The Humane Society of Adams County has always realized that providing humane education in our community will help prevent animal cruelty. As a matter of fact, one of the responsibilities of a Humane Agent is to provide Humane Education to the community. Unfortunately, we have not been able to provide these crucial services at the level necessary. As the Humane Society we have decided that this can no longer be the norm and have commited to achieving this goal.

This is where Rocky and Bingo come in! This is truly a golden opportunity for the Humane Society to help educate the community and for Rocky and Bingo to remain with their handlers. All we have to do is raise the money to turn this opportunity into a reality! We have two wonderful dogs and handlers who are trained and ready to go. If we attempted to start this program from ground zero, not only would it be more expensive, but it would be at least a year into the future.

How much do we need to get started? The goal is $8,000. $6350 to keep the dogs with their handlers and the extra $1,650 for the initial start up costs.

We are excited about the programs that we can offer with the assitance of Rocky and Bingo. This community needs the preventative education programs and the love that these big furry ambassadors are ready to give!
