It all started near Mountain Grove with one un-spayed female just over a year ago, and now there are more than 22 cats in this colony!

It's a classic story. A feral female cat showed up at the Caretaker's home. She was too wild to be handled, and soon she was pregnant. Now, barely a year later, the colony has exploded to nearly 25 cats. This is how quickly they multiply when they aren't able to be spayed or neutered.

The Dedicated Caretaker of this colony has prioritized feeding the cats over feeding themselves, and now finds the number of cats and their needs overwhelming.

Colonies of this size are breeding grounds - not just for more kittens - but also for diseases that can affect both cats and humans.
