Rosh Hashanah Donations

Every year around the high holidays Shabbat Angels fundraises for families, Holocaust Survivors, and elderly people in need. This year Shabbat Angels is working with the JCC of greater Coney Island to bring beautiful Rosh Hashanah packages to 60 Holocaust survivors. We will be delivering these packages and visiting the survivors with a group of volunteers bringing them so much joy before chag. Shabbat Angels will also be partnering with Rabbi Joe at JLIC to help fund packages for hundreds of families living in one of Tel Aviv's poorest neighborhoods. We will also be helping raise funds for JLIC Tel Aviv to pack and deliver packages to over 200 Holocaust survivors living in Tel Aviv. Shabbat Angels will also be collaborating with Just One Chesed to provide food vouchers to 70 families in need all over Israel. These families consist of single moms who are leaving shelters and trying to make ends meet and families who are living in poverty in Israel.

Our goal for this year is to raise $10,000 to be able to help as many families as possible. This work isn't possible without the help of our amazing community who helps each other in times of need.
