Dr. John and Bettie Warden established this memorial scholarship in 1990 in the loving memory of their son, Roy, who passed away when he was 20. The Warden family were long-time community members and devout parishioners of Saint Paul's Church. This scholarship is awarded annually to a graduating student of Saint Paul Parish to further their education.

Jane Warden Folkman, passed away on September 8, 2023. In lieu of flowers, it was her wish that those who would like to honor her memory to donate to her brother Roy's Memorial Scholarship.
