Dear Business Owner and Community Member,

The Martinsburg High School Lady Bulldogs Basketball program is seeking donations from community members and business owners to help with the purchase of much needed uniforms, equipment, travel meals, and travel lodging for this season. I am in my second year as the head coach and excited about how we finished the last year.  Our ladies have been working hard this off season and looking to grow on their achievements from last season.  I am very passionate about our female athletes receiving equal treatment. These young ladies work extremely hard in the classroom as well as on the court.  In order to accomplish providing them with the same opportunities, I am asking for the community’s help in donations to the Lady Bulldogs Basketball Program.

I truly appreciate any donation you and/or your organization can make. It takes a village to build a successful program where our young ladies can grow on and off the court.

This year our program is working hard and fundraising for the items that are desperately needed.  Here is a list of some items/expenses needed for our 24/25 season:

• Room and Board 3x trips (East Fairmont & St. Albans) = $5,500
• Practice Uniforms = $750
• Game Uniforms = $3000
• Game Day Gear (Sweatsuit, shoes, shooting shirts) = $250 per player (We plan to have 36 Athletes -Varsity, JV and Freshmen Team)
  • (Program tries to raise money to lower this expense for families)
• Daily Snacks and Drinks before and after practice = $1500
• Gymnasium sideline chairs = $1600
• Training Equipment = $500

Any amount would greatly help these young ladies reach their goals, but here are some levels for guidance. 

• $5,000 - State Champion Sponsorship 
• $2,500 - Regional Champion Sponsorship 
• $1,000 – Sectional Champion Sponsorship 
• $500 – All EPAC Sponsorship 
• $250 – Team MVP Sponsorship 
• $100 – Family Sponsorship
