Cannon’s Secret Santa Fundraiser

Hello. My name is Ryan Wycoff and I am writing on behalf of my friend and fellow volunteer, Cannon.

For over 30 years, the Secret Santa program has helped Sonoma County individuals and families in need by fulfilling Christmas wishes for toys, bicycles, food, clothes, home repairs, healthcare needs, and much more. In 2021 alone, with the help of local community leaders, non-profits, businesses and volunteers, nearly 30,000 wishes were fulfilled. Cannon was one of those volunteers.

Despite being faced with his own unique challenges in life due to a rare genetic disorder, Cannon has been selflessly helping others during the holidays since early childhood. His first homemade apple cider and cookies fundraising stand was in 2014 – he had just turned 7 years old. “We started by dropping off money at the Secret Santa KZST radio marathon but the true magic began a few years ago when he began adopting hearts and shopping for gifts,” said Cannon’s amazing mom, Amy. He then put on his favorite Christmas outfit and volunteered with me to pick up hundreds of additional gifts from local businesses and deliver them to Heart Central, the program’s North Pole. “Cannon could see firsthand the impact he was making, and after his first gift delivery, he looked over at me and said that his heart felt really warm,” said Amy.

In 2019, he raised $300. In 2020, with help from many of you through a Facebook fundraiser, he raised $3,300. And last year, between cider and cookie sales and online donations, he raised a remarkable $4,650! This Christmas he wants to help more people than ever before and has set a total fundraising goal of $5,000.

Please join me in supporting Cannon by making a tax-deductible donation to fulfill Secret Santa wishes that will create holiday miracles for those who need them most.

“I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your compassion and assistance. The gift certificates allowed my wife to buy her first new pair of shoes since before her cancer diagnosis.” (Secret Santa wish recipient)

Thank you for your kindness and generosity during the most wonderful time of the year. Merry Christmas! ❤️🌲🎁

(Dessert Alert: At the end of this fundraiser, one donor will be selected at random to receive two of Amy’s DELICIOUS holiday desserts - one for you to enjoy and one to share 🤗)
